About Me

I am an American university student pursuing a Master's of American History. I am fluent in English and speak some German. I intend to go to graduate school and become a historian in the areas of social and cultural history. I am also very interested in local history, labor history, film history, music history, and the history of psychology and disability. I enjoy incorporating theory and philosophy into my academic work.

I have struggled with dysthymia and intellectual disabilities for my whole life, and I developed a heart condition in college because of untreated anxiety. I identify as disabled and perhaps "mad." I also identify as a lesbian. I tend to be a very anti-social person, and I try to overcome this by learning about the human experience and becoming involved with activism. I love watching movies, reading, playing video games, and sometimes drawing. I currently work at a labor union.
